A Proven substitute peat moss, rock wool or perlite, the coco peat discs not only outperform most peat brands, but also reduces peat extraction from many environmentally sensitive swamps in various parts of the world. The discs are extremely practical and absorb 4-5 liters of water, which is nearly 8 times their weight and are highly porous, allowing strong root development. Besides allowing the roots to retain its moisture and reducing over exposure to sunlight, the discs also help to ward off growth of weeds at the plant foot.
Our Coir pith Discs are compressed coir pith designed for use in pots. The Potting soil mixture can be tailored according to the kind of plant and growing condition prevalent at the user end. The discs come with a hole in the center to facilitate easy planting and are ideal for seed germination and saplings and can be made available in a variety of dimensions. Our discs find use in growing bulbs and tubers and in home gardens. Besides finding use as a medium for seeding or seedling growth, the discs are an equally effective medium for growing well-grown plants.
